Bulk URL shortener: create short links from a CSV file

When you need dozens or hundreds of short links, making them one at a time is no fun. EditURLink takes a spreadsheet, checks every row and creates the links in one pass, within your remaining monthly allowance.

How bulk link creation works

  • Download the CSV template from the bulk page in your account.
  • Fill in one row per link: the destination and the short name you want.
  • Add UTM columns if the links belong to a campaign.
  • Drag the file onto the upload box, or paste the rows straight in.
  • Review the checked list — every row is validated before anything is created.
  • Create the links, then export or copy them all at once.

When shortening multiple URLs makes sense

  • A link per product, branch, agent or property listing.
  • A link per channel for the same campaign, each with its own UTM tags.
  • A link per printed item so you can compare which flyer or poster worked.
  • Migrating a spreadsheet of existing links into one place.

Limits worth knowing

A CSV file can hold up to 500 rows. How many links you can actually create depends on your account’s remaining monthly allowance — the Free Beta includes 50 new links per month, and redirects are always unlimited. Short names must be unique, so the checker tells you which rows clash before you commit.

Exporting your links

The same page exports every link you own as a CSV, including total and human clicks, which makes it easy to report on a campaign alongside your click analytics.

Questions people ask

How many links can I create at once?
A CSV can hold up to 500 rows in a single upload. The number of links actually created depends on your account's remaining monthly link allowance.
What columns does the CSV need?
A web address and a short name, plus optional utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign columns. A ready-made template is on the bulk page.
What happens to bad rows?
Every row is checked before anything is created. Invalid addresses, duplicates and reserved names are flagged, and only the good rows are created.
Can I export my links again afterwards?
Yes. The same page exports every link you own with its short link, destination, creation date and click counts.
